Which documents does accounting need for acquiring? | MULENPAY

Accounting needs summary data rather than individual payments: an operation register for the period, the amount of fee withheld and confirmation of transfers to the account. All of it exports from the dashboard, while closing documents are set out in the provider contract.

What to take from the dashboard

  • The payment register for the period — amounts, statuses and dates.
  • Refund data: refunds reduce the amount of the next transfer.
  • The withheld fee, which explains the gap between turnover and what was credited.

How to reconcile

  • Compare the bank statement with the payout register, not with individual payments.
  • Remember the account receives the amount net of the fee while the buyer paid the full sum.
  • Refunds and disputes in the period explain the difference between turnover and receipts.

What else a legal entity needs at onboarding is on the company acquiring page.
