Application
Leave a request on the site or sign up in the dashboard. A manager gets in touch, clarifies your sector and turnover and explains the next steps.
For sole traders
What a sole trader needs to accept card and SBP payments: an application, the documents for the contract, a business bank account and a cash register issuing 54-FZ receipts. The technical part takes one business day.
What you need
Four things without which an application never reaches the contract stage. An active sole trader usually has three of them already
Leave a request on the site or sign up in the dashboard. A manager gets in touch, clarifies your sector and turnover and explains the next steps.
The manager sends the exact list of documents after your application: it depends on your line of business. There is nothing to prepare in advance.
Sales proceeds are settled to the sole trader's business account. You provide the account details when signing the contract.
If payments will be taken on a website, it must show product or service descriptions, seller contacts, and payment and refund terms. Payment links need no website at all.
Payment methods
Everything that comes with a single contract: from cards to recurring charges
Visa, Mastercard and MIR with 3-D Secure confirmation.
The buyer confirms the payment in their banking app via a QR code or link and never types card details.
One-tap checkout for buyers who use these banks' apps.
For sales in chats, social networks and at a point of sale: create a link in the dashboard in a minute.
Memberships and subscriptions: repeat charges on a saved payment method without the buyer's involvement.
If some of your buyers hold cards from overseas banks, this is enabled at a separate rate.
Settlement formats
Your tax regime has no effect on onboarding: the rate depends on turnover and business sector. The regime matters for something else — whether you need an online cash register
An online store, a services site or a landing page: the payment form is embedded with the widget or a ready-made CMS module, and the buyer pays without leaving the page.
Orders in messengers and social networks, prepayment after a call, on-site payment by QR: you create a link in the dashboard and send it to the buyer.
If you have your own mobile app, payment is embedded through the REST API: statuses arrive on your server as webhooks.
Studios, courses, subscription services: the first charge is confirmed by the buyer, the following ones run on the saved payment method.
Cash register and receipts
No need to buy and maintain your own cash register: receipts for online payments are issued by a cloud online cash register
After a successful payment the receipt is generated automatically and sent to the buyer. Nothing is issued by hand.
Fiscalisation runs through a cloud online cash register that we connect together with payment acceptance. The sole trader gets no extra hardware.
The receipt for every operation is stored next to the payment data and can be downloaded whenever your accountant or the buyer needs it.
It depends on your tax regime and type of activity. If you do not need one, payment acceptance is connected without it.
Self-employed rather than a sole trader?
A self-employed person has no business bank account and a different receipt procedure, so onboarding differs. If you work as a self-employed person, see the terms for that status.
Payments for the self-employedGet started
Leave a request: a manager will send the list of documents, discuss a rate for your turnover and help with the setup.
Cost
No setup fee and no monthly fee: only a percentage of each successful payment
The starting rate is the same for all main payment methods inside Russia.
Enabled separately and only if you actually have such buyers.
The limit for a single payment. If you need larger amounts, split them into several payments or discuss terms with your manager.
For sole traders with a sizeable turnover we agree the rate individually and fix it in the contract.
MulenPay provides software and infrastructure solutions. The service does not offer financial, payment, banking or investment services in its own name: all financial operations are carried out by licensed providers and partners. Final terms and rates are set out in the contract.
Dashboard
Everything an entrepreneur without an in-house accountant needs: see the money, refund it and export it
Turnover, number of operations and the share of each payment method for any period: on a chart and in a table.
Payment history with statuses, a refund for a specific operation in a couple of clicks, notifications for every change.
Export of operations for a period for bookkeeping and reconciliation with the money arriving in your business account.
If the sole trader pays contractors or partners, bulk card payouts are launched from the same dashboard.
