Why is a payout smaller than turnover for the period? | MULENPAY

Three things almost always explain the gap: the fee withheld, refunds during the period and operations that have not made it into a transfer yet. Add them up and the figure matches the payout register.

What makes up the difference

  • The fee. Withheld before settlement, so the account receives less than turnover.
  • Refunds. They reduce the next payout even if the purchase was in an earlier period.
  • Unfinished operations. Payments on Hold or Processing are not part of a payout.
  • Period boundaries. An operation late in the day may fall into the next transfer.

How to check

  • Open the payout register and reconcile its contents with the bank statement.
  • Check refunds for the period separately — they are the most common cause.
  • If it still does not add up, contact support with the register number.

When money reaches the account is covered separately.
