How do I accept a payment from a company? | MULENPAY

A company has two routes: pay an issued invoice from its bank account, or pay by corporate card like any other buyer. The first is familiar to accounting, the second clears instantly and needs no waiting for a bank transfer.

Paying by invoice

  • Fits large amounts: per-card operation limits do not apply here.
  • Money takes longer — the transfer is processed by the buyer bank during business hours.
  • The buyer needs an invoice and closing documents, so the details must be exact.

Paying by corporate card

  • Goes through as an ordinary payment — instantly and with a status notification.
  • Corporate cards are sometimes restricted by merchant category, so a decline is possible.
  • The receipt and documents are generated automatically, as with any other payment.

What a company itself needs for onboarding is on the company acquiring page.
