A static QR code is printed once and carries no amount — the buyer enters it themselves. A dynamic one is generated for a specific order with the amount and purpose already filled in, leaving the buyer only to confirm.
When each fits
- Static — for a point of sale where the amount differs every time and the seller states it.
- Dynamic — when the order already exists: less room for an error in the amount.
- Showrooms and field sales usually use both: a code at the desk and a link per order.
What to keep in mind
- With a static code, verify the amount: the buyer may enter the wrong figure.
- A dynamic code can simply be sent as a link — scanning is optional.
- Both need internet access on the buyer side, not the seller side.
