Yes. Payment links and QR codes work without a site: the link is sent in a messenger or on social media, the code is shown on a screen or printed at the point of sale. The buyer lands on a secure checkout page and the merchant receives a payment notification.
What replaces a site
- A payment link. For selling through chat: set the amount and purpose, send it to the client.
- A QR code. For offline and field work: the buyer scans it with a phone.
- In-app payments. If you sell through a mobile app, checkout is embedded there.
What you still need
- A contract with the provider and bank details for payouts.
- A clear description of the goods or service — it is reviewed during onboarding.
- Refund terms: they are needed even without a site, at least as a document you send the client.
How payment links work is on the payment link page.
